Spinning steel wool at the Old Helensburgh Tunnel, NSW.

By using a whisk stuffed full of steel wool, attached to a rope, lit on fire and spinning it around for a few seconds, you can create some amazing visuals. The first time I used steel wool in photography, I was amazed at what I created.

This shot is from The Old Helensburgh Tunnel, in NSW. The tunnel is a great spot to perfectly capture the steel wool not only because of its unique shape, but also because of the minimal amount of light in the area.
